{"id":31,"date":"2026-06-15T17:35:14","date_gmt":"2026-06-15T17:35:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/crowntransitservices.com\/?page_id=31"},"modified":"2026-06-15T18:42:40","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T18:42:40","slug":"transportation-policies-and-procedures","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/crowntransitservices.com\/?page_id=31","title":{"rendered":"Transportation Policies and Procedures"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Crown Transit Services<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Commitment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our mission is to provide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Safe transportation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reliable service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peace of mind for families<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Pickup Procedures<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parents Must:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have students ready at pickup time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure younger children are supervised until pickup.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notify Crown Transit Services of absences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drivers will wait a maximum of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3 minutes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">before proceeding to the next scheduled stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Drop-Off Procedure<\/strong>s<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students will only be released:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At approved locations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To approved adults when required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>According to transportation instructions provided by parents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Illness Policy<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students should remain home if they have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fever<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vomiting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diarrhea<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contagious illness symptoms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students must be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rider Conduct<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students are expected to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Remain seated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow driver instructions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respect others<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep hands and feet to themselves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use appropriate language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Emergency Procedures<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In case of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Vehicle Breakdown<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parents will be notified immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Medical Emergency<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Emergency services may be contacted if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Severe Weather<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Transportation may be delayed, modified, or canceled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Crown Transit Services<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Service Interruption &amp; Emergency Closure Policy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crown Transit Services is currently an owner-operated business. While every effort will be made to provide reliable and consistent transportation services, there may be rare situations that prevent operations from running as scheduled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These situations may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Driver illness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Family emergencies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vehicle breakdowns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Severe weather conditions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Road closures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safety concerns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other unforeseen emergencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Parent Notification<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the event transportation services cannot be provided, Crown Transit Services will make every reasonable effort to notify parents as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Notification methods may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Phone call<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Text message<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whenever possible, notice will be provided no later than:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Evening before service for known situations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 2 hours before scheduled pickup for unexpected situations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Immediately upon becoming aware of an emergency situation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Temporary Service Suspension<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parents understand that Crown Transit Services is currently operated by a single owner-driver and does not maintain a guaranteed substitute driver at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If an emergency or illness prevents transportation services from being provided, service may be temporarily suspended until operations can safely resume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vehicle Breakdowns<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a vehicle breakdown occurs during transportation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Passenger safety will be prioritized.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parents will be notified immediately.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Emergency contacts will be updated as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alternative transportation arrangements may be coordinated when available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Service Credits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If transportation services are canceled by Crown Transit Services for a full day or multiple consecutive days, account credits may be issued at the discretion of management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Credits may be applied toward future transportation services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Future Growth Commitment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Crown Transit Services grows, the company intends to establish backup driver coverage and additional vehicles to reduce service interruptions and improve operational reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Commitment to Families<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While emergencies cannot always be prevented, Crown Transit Services is committed to communicating promptly, operating transparently, and minimizing disruptions whenever possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We appreciate the understanding and support of the families we serve as we continue building a dependable transportation service for our community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Crown Transit Services Our Commitment Our mission is to provide: Pickup Procedures Parents Must: Drivers will wait a maximum of: 3 minutes before proceeding to the next scheduled stop.
